Nanlux Evoke 5C LED Full-color Spot Light Kit
The Evoke 5C is ultracompact yet specially designed for professionals, addressing the long-standing gap in the market for small LED spots that still deliver the precision and control demanded by gaffers and camera operators. NANLUX changes that in one fell swoop with this carefully engineered 6W spot with built-in battery. The Evoke 5C delivers professional light and accurate full-colour output, measures 5.6 x 4.4 x 4.5 cm and weighs just 160 grams! Ideal for small scenes, desktop and macro video/photography (including underwater), or seamless integration into set pieces as discreet practical lighting.
The Evoke 5C's extensive range of magnetic accessories — including a Soft Dome, Fresnel lens, Spot Beam lens, Snoot and Projection accessories — enables precise accent lighting, fill light and mood lighting on a small scale. The mini LED spot can be used handheld with the detachable battery grip, aimed precisely with the dedicated tripod head, mounted securely with anti-twist 1/4″-20 threading, or used for discreet mounting within an object. Thanks to its robust construction and IP67 rating — making it usable underwater — it can be deployed anywhere, at any time. An optional underwater housing enables use at even greater depths. The Evoke 5C delivers professional precision and flexibility in an exceptionally compact design, making it ideal for demanding lighting applications.
The Evoke 5C is exceptionally portable and quick to set up — it can be held in the hand for fast-paced shoots or discreetly placed in frame to provide subtle fill light without drawing attention. It delivers 2,026 lux at 0.5 m (light only, 5600K), approximately double that with the optional Fresnel lens and up to 5.5 times with the Spot Beam lens. This makes it ideal for highlighting fine details, creating atmosphere, adding localised highlights or precisely accenting light.
Fourteen dedicated accessories have been designed for the Evoke 5C, including various modifiers, mounting, power and control accessories. It features magnetic and click-lock fastenings at the front and fastenings with electronic contacts at the rear, allowing accessories to be attached quickly and easily. A 1/4"-20 threaded mount secures the Evoke 5C to lighting stands or other supports, and a USB-C port enables power input, firmware updates or connection of an adapter cable for wired DMX control.
Like the larger NANLUX Evoke 150C and Evoke 600C, the Evoke 5C is equipped with the advanced Nebula C8 light source, which integrates deep red, red, amber, lime green, cyan, blue and indigo LEDs. This delivers higher colour saturation, an ultra-wide colour temperature range of 1,000K–20,000K with green/magenta adjustment of ±200°, and excellent colour rendering with an average CRI/TLCI of 98. The Evoke 5C features seven built-in lighting modes, including CCT, HSI, HSIW, RGBW, XY coordinates, Gel and Effect, enabling versatile light control for creative and professional applications.
With its built-in lithium battery, the Evoke 5C runs for approximately 2.5 hours and lasts 4.7 hours with the battery grip, making it perfect for on-location shoots and rapid repositioning. It also accepts USB-C power, is compatible with the E27 mount adapter, or can be charged in the 8-kit case.
With an IP67-certified housing, the Evoke 5C delivers reliable performance in demanding environments. It can be submerged to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. The optional IPX8-certified underwater housing extends the operational depth to 30 metres, enabling high-quality lighting for diving applications.
The Evoke 5C supports multiple wired and wireless control methods to meet the demands of professional productions, regardless of complexity. Adjustments can be made directly on the light or wirelessly via the NANLINK app. For larger or more complex shoots, it offers remote control via wired DMX or wireless CRMX. The NFC function allows users to set DMX parameters for multiple spots simultaneously, even when they are switched off, significantly improving pairing efficiency.
In addition to the standard kit, optional kits are available, such as this Evoke 5C Kit, the 8-kit and the Light Modifier Kit. These are designed to support a wide range of shooting setups, from solo creators to gaffers on large productions. The Evoke 5C Kit offers a variety of modifiers, enabling quick switching between spot lighting, soft lighting and beam spread. The convenient carry case features a carabiner clip, so the kit can easily be attached to a belt or bag for transport.
