Weighing only 998 grams, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR SII telephoto zoom lens is no less than 362 grams lighter and 12 mm shorter than its predecessor. The telephoto zoom lens has a focal length of 70-200mm and is suitable for Nikon cameras with a Z mount. The lens features a fast f/2.8 aperture and 6 stops of built-in vibration reduction. In addition, the lens is equipped with Synchro VR for maximum stabilization in the center and at the edges of the frame. The rounded 11-blade diaphragm and advanced optics produce a smooth bokeh. The combination of ARNEO Coat and multi-layer Super Integrated Coatings reduces ghosting and flare. Your images are clear and sharp, even with a direct light source in the frame. Nikon’s powerful anti-reflective coating eliminates incident light from any direction and provides exceptional control over ghosting and flare.

Responsiveness has been greatly improved thanks to the fast Silky Swift voice coil motors and the powerful guiding and AF system. Despite its speed, audible noise and vibrations are significantly reduced. The use of high-dispersion SR glass and Super ED glass effectively counteracts chromatic aberration and color fringing. Skin tones appear natural and colors are reproduced faithfully. Two double-sided aspherical lens elements correct sagittal coma and spherical aberrations.

The lens captures beautifully sharp close-ups. Work with a short minimum focusing distance of 0.38 m at 70 mm and 0.8 m at 200 mm. The maximum magnification is 0.25x at 70 mm and 0.3x at 200 mm. In addition, the lens features a click-enabled control ring for smooth, silent, stepless operation.
