The NiSi AUREUS PRIME Cinema Lens 50mm T1.4 (PL-mount) offers a timeless perspective with an image character that feels both intimate and natural. Perfect for dialogues, portraits and medium shots. The 50mm is the ultimate standard lens - and indispensable in every cameraman's toolbox. With a 46mm image circle and optimised for Full frame cinema cameras, the 50mm delivers sharp, clear images with a cinematic look that is versatile for narrative, commercialële and documentary applications.

The fast maximum aperture of T1.4 ensures excellent low-light performance and the ability to isolate subjects with creamy bokeh. The 11-blade aperture produces smooth, natural background blur while maintaining focus on the subject, enhancing emotional depth and focus. This makes the 50mm ideal for emotionally charged moments, Interviews and visual storytelling that emphasise character and connection.

The 50mm Aureus Prime features advanced optical design and minimises chromatic aberrations, Distortions and flares, while maximising Resolution and tonal accuracy. Multilayer coatings ensure that contrast and brightness are maintained even when shooting at wide aperture or in challenging lighting conditions. From edge to edge, the lens maintains high contrast and fine detail – crucial for today's high-resolution workflows.

The 50mm offers virtually no focus refraction, ensuring professional focus transitions that do not disrupt composition. The extended focus rotation of 300° offers precise manual control, allowing Users to confidently track or shift focus between subjects and scènes.

Despite its robust, all-metal construction, the 50mm weighs just 1300g and has a compact design – suitable for all types of setups, from cinema rigs to lightweight handheld gimbals. The front diameter is consistently 90mm and the lens features an 86mm filter thread, ensuring seamless compatibility with Accessories and matteboxes.
