The Panasonic LUMIX S 40mm f/2.0 is a compact, bright prime lens for L-Mount cameras. With a 40mm focal length, it delivers a natural angle of view that’s close to what your eyes see. That makes it a versatile choice for everyday photography, street shooting, portraits, and landscapes.

Its fast f/2.0 maximum aperture helps you keep shutter speeds higher in lower light, without pushing ISO unnecessarily. It also creates a soft, attractive background blur, so your subject stands out beautifully from the background.

This lens is designed to go everywhere with you. At around 4.1 cm in length and approximately 144 grams, it keeps your kit compact and lightweight. It also shares the same 62mm filter size as the LUMIX S 18-40mm, which is handy if you want to swap accessories between lenses.
