The Panasonic MFT 12-35mm f/2.8 LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT ASPH. POWER O.I.S. is a versatile MFT zoom lens with a zoom range of 12-35mm (24-70mm on a 35mm equivalent). This makes the lens suitable for many types of photography, from landscape to portrait. The lens has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range, which means it also performs very well in low-light situations. Createëer beautiful, soft bokeh effects in the process, partly due to the 7 round aperture blades.

The lens features Nano Surface Coating. It consists of 14 lens elements divided into 9 groups. The 12-35mm f/2.8 also includes 4 aspherical lenses, a UED lens and a UHR lens. Everything to ensure perfect light transmission, with natural colours, without lens flare or ghosting.

Thanks to a new mechanism, focus breathing is now a thing of the past. And thanks to the effective O.I.S. technology, you also no longer suffer from motion blur. The lens also comes with a very precise and quiet autofocus. This makes the lens suitable for both photography and professional video shoots.

The lens is particularly light at 306 grams, but this does not take away from the fact that it is very robust. It is splash and dust resistant and can handle temperatures down to -10°C. In the process, it is designed to meet Leica's stringent, optical standards.
