The Pentax D FA 24-70mm F2.8 ED SDM WR is a large aperture standard zoom lens. Thanks to the 'large-aperture design' this lens features an F2.8 diaphragm throughout the range of 24mm to 70mm and has a beautiful bokeh. This makes the lens ideal for portraits, but this versatile lens is truly a real all-rounder.

Combined with various PENTAX-developed lens coating technologies, little reflections are guaranteed. The high-quality HD coating provides extra sharp high-contrast images free of flare and ghosting, even with tricky lighting conditions such as backlight. In addition to the three aspherical elements and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements, the lens also contains an aberrant dispersion aspheric glass element to minimize chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range, providing a high image quality.

Weatherproof

The five seals protect the Pentax D FA 24-70mm F / 2.8 against dust and water. Combined with a PENTAX WR body, you can even shoot in harsh weather conditions such as rain or fog and totally rely on your equipment.

SDM (Supersonic Direct-drive Motor)

The new PENTAX Supersonic Direct-drive motor makes for a quiet, high-speed autofocus. This allows you as a photographer, to easily and quickly switch between various subjects.
