The Plustek OpticFilm 8300i SE is the latest scanner for digitising 35mm negatives and slides. The sharp optical system produces excellent detail in shadows and has a remarkable tonal range. The built-in infrared channel helps Users remove dust and scratches from original negatives and slides without additional post-processing.
Thanks to the new algorithm and IC chip upgrade, scanning speed can be increased by up to 38% compared to the previous model, the OpticFilm 8200i. Users can now create a digital image archive of their own Analog images easier than ever before.
Double professional Software included. SilverFast SE Plus 9 - This Software includes several new features with optimised image processing. The improved user interface and new algorithms, which speed up image processing time by up to 75%, are just some of the many upgrades.
Plustek QuickScan Plus - The Software has an intuïtive, user-friendly interface. You can export digitised images to your own third-party image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP, after scanning.
The Plustek OpticFilm 8300i SE is designed with advanced lighting and optical systems. It uses a highly sensitive colour CCD sensor and LED lighting for optimum image quality. The built-in infrared channel detects dust and scratches on the film surface and removes them automatically.
This dedicated 35mm film scanner has an optical resolution of 7200 dpi, ensuring sharp and vivid images. Output files up to 68.9 megapixels are comparable to those of a full-frame digital DSLR camera. You can create high-quality enlargements of up to 91 x 61 cm.
Dynamic range is the range of recordable light from the darkest to lightest colour on the exposed film that a scanner can read. With a dynamic range of up to 3.91 D, you will rediscover how beautiful and natural the highlights and shadows are in Analog photography.
