The PocketWizard AC5 RF Shield Soft is a simple solution to reduce interference and improve the performance of the FlexTT5 or FlexTT6 Transceiver. Special RF material and a shoe filter protect the FlexTT5/FlexTT6 Transceiver from RF noise generated by some Canon Speedlites (580EX II, 580EX and 430EX). Other Canon Speedlites, including the 600EX-RT, produce relatively little electromagnetic interference (EMI) and work well with the FlexTT5/FlexTT6 without shielding.

The AC5 provides easy access to all flash controls and a full range of flash positions. The AC5 can be stored on the Flash or removed and rolled up, making it easy to fit in your Camera bag. Its portability makes it an attractive solution against RF noise. The AC5 RF Soft Shield can be used when using a high-power external Battery.

The AC5 is intended for use with receiving flash units only and not for use with your built-in flash.

CAUTION: The AC5 is not designed for horizontal use on a Tripod or light pole; for these situations you can use the AC7 RF Hard Shield. The AC7 is also the perfect solution for use with an Umbrella thanks to its centred Umbrella holder.
