The Profoto Softgrid 5' Octa is a softgrid for the Profoto Softbox 5' Octa and limits light spread to 50°. This creates more directional light, eliminating a large amount of spill light and giving you extra control over the illumination. By limiting the light spread, the contrast in the illumination increases, creating a moodier and more dramatic lighting effect. The softgrid is also useful when you want to prevent the background or surrounding areas from being illuminated. The Velcro attachment ensures quick and easy mounting on the recessed front of the softbox. Please note: the softgrid is not compatible with the Profoto RFi, OCF and Clic Softbox series.
