Profoto A2 + Connect Canon
This bundle consists of the Profoto A2 and the Profoto Connect (Canon).
Profoto A2
The Profoto A2 is a flash unit that gives you access to excellent light formation anytime, anywhere. It has a power output of 100Ws, making it more powerful than the Profoto A1. Due to its compact size, it can easily be placed out of hand or on a tripod. With Profoto's Clic system, you can easily attach all kinds of light formers to these flash units.
The flash bridges the gap between the Profoto A-series flash units and the Profoto B-series flash units. Powered by the same battery as the Profoto A series, this A2 flash offers 400 full-power flashes and fast recycling times between 0.1 and 1.6 seconds. In addition, it has the characteristic AirX connectivity and offers TLL (auto) and High-Speed Sync (Hi-S) flashes.
The flash has a simple interface with clear, easy-to-read settings. The buttons also lend themselves to the A10, for quick and intuitive adjustments. You can control the flash via the Profoto Connect (Pro) wireless transmitter and via the Profoto app. The Profoto A2 works within six Air channel groups with a total of 100 channels. The ten f-stops can be adjusted in 0.1 f-stop increments to give you complete control over the amount of light.
Profoto Connect Canon
The Profoto Connect is Profoto's first remote that you can operate without buttons. Ideal for when you want to use one flash on location without a menu of various settings. You can set the Profoto Connect to three different settings: Auto (TTL), Manual or Off. You do this by turning the remote.
By default, the Profoto Connect is set to 1 channel. You can change this to multiple or other channels (8 in total) using the Profoto App. In future updates, you can also set the groups. For now, the Profoto App is only suitable for iPhone 7 or later, Android will follow later.
The Profoto Connect has built-in rechargeable Li-Po battery that lets you keep working for 30 hours at a time. The Connect is available for Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon and Olympus brands. So get started and experience the convenience of a button-free trigger.
