The Axion XQ19 Compact is handy and easy to carry, yet offers high thermal sensitivity and many premium features, including Wi-Fi connectivity and the latest image processing algorithms.
The Axion is designed for continuous, often demanding use. The magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and robust. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device against shocks, drops, moisture, heat and cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimising image noise and increasing the operational stability of the device during prolonged observations.
The Axion XQ19 Compact is equipped with a European sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (17 micrometre pixel size) that captures a high-quality signal even under challenging observation conditions such as rain, fog and high humidity at the observation location.
The germanium lens F19/1.0 offers high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the extremely precise manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image from the sensor of the Axion Compact thermal imaging camera is characterised by clarity and detail.
A high-capacity rechargeable APS3 battery enables up to 8 hours of continuous use of the thermal imaging camera on a single charge. The battery can be removed and replaced from the battery housing within seconds. The battery is charged in a dedicated charger or in the device itself via USB-C from a PC, mains power or power bank. The same sources are used for external power supply of the thermal imaging device.
The Axion XQ Compact thermal imaging cameras feature a 5 GHz band, complementing the standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection for smartphones. The 5 GHz connection offers improved bandwidth, faster data transfer, noise immunity and a more stable connection, resulting in more productive and user-friendly operation of the thermal imaging camera with a smartphone.
Thanks to the extremely wide field of view, the Axion XQ Compact thermal imaging cameras are ideal for scanning large areas, observing moving objects or tracking moving subjects.
The Axion XQ Compact features a pocket-sized compact design and weighs just 310 grams. The symmetrical design and top-mounted buttons make the device easy to hold and operate for both right- and left-handed users.
The Axion XQ Compact has a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of the Axion XQ Compact can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. With a single press of a button, you can photograph an interesting subject or start a video recording. Recordings are copied to a computer's hard drive via a USB-C connection. Axion XQ Compact users have access to additional storage space for photos and videos captured with the device in the Pulsar Cloud. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
