The Samyang 24mm f/1.4 for Canon is composed of 13 elements that are grouped into 12 groups. The lens has two aspherical glass sections, which makes the lens lighter and more compact, and these lens sections also reduce chromatic aberration. 4 of the 13 elements are made of the low-dispersion glass (ED) which significantly increases quality. The high-quality multi-layer and anti-reflection coatings give contrast and colourful images.

When used with full-frame cameras, this lens is excellent for use as a wide-angle lens. Use this lens in combination with an APS-C sensor and you get a lens perfect for journalism and/or landscape photography.
