This manually focusable Samyang 85mm T1.5 VDSLR AS IF UMC II E-Mount is optically at a high level and even provides at full aperture of T1.5 exceptional results. This makes it perfect for portraits and low-light shooting. Although it is designed for cameras with a Full-Frame sensor, it is also suitable for cameras with an APS-C / DX sensor. It then gives a focal length of about 127mm.

The quality of the bokeh (the character of the blur in the background) is an important criterion for professional filmmakers in choosing a light strong lens. The design of the Samyang 85mm T1.5 provides excellent quality bokeh.

The Samyang 85mm T1.5, is designed with an internal focus (IF). This means that the housing of the lens does not increase in length during focusing. Another positive aspect of this internal focus is that there is much less risk of the ingress of dust and that the front lens does not rotate.
