The Sennheiser MKH 8030 RF condenser microphone is a figure-eight dynamic microphone with a brilliant response making it perfect for any application. Figure-eight microphones have a practical design and pick up a source with reasonable isolation and some ambience behind it, but with superior rejection at the sides.

The MKH 8030 allows users to use mid-side and Blumlein recording techniques, with an extremely compact design allowing it to be placed on busy stages, in busy studios or on film sets, out of sight. The extremely compact 8030 is ideal for field recording, sports and general broadcasting, theater, orchestral recording and studio music.

The MKH 8030 has a frequency response of 30 Hz to 50 kHz, but at the same time it is a very robust solution with very low self-noise.
