The Shimoda Core Unit medium is a packing cube that integrates seamlessly with the side of the Action X50 backpack. The unit is also suitable for Shimoda backpacks and rollers except for the Action X30. The unit has room for a mirrorless or DSLR camera up to 16 cm high and lenses up to 70-200mm f/2.8. You can quickly access the camera from the side.

Modular stacking is possible. This allows you to stack a small core unit on top of the medium one. In terms of volume, it then comes close to the large unit. In this way, it is possible to own both the medium and small core units.

Furthermore, the unit is lightweight and water resistant. A multifunctional cover is included. You can use it as a storage box. This keeps your unit dust-free when you are not using it. You can also use the cover to fill it with clothes. This unit has laminated partitions and side walls, a lightweight and versatile removable cover and an aluminium frame for extra strength and support.
