The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN (C) Canon EF-M is a fast and versatile prime lens designed for a Canon EF-M-mount mirrorless camera. The maximum f/1.4 aperture works in low light and provides extensive control over depth of field for the use of selective focus techniques.

The optical design consists of 9 elements in 7 groups. These elements include some aspherical elements along with a high refractive index. This gives a remarkably sharp image quality by significantly reducing spherical aberrations and distortion. The Super Multi-Layer Coating has been applied to control lens flare and ghosting in strong lighting conditions. The prime lens also features an AF motor for smooth and near-silent autofocus performance.
