The SmallRig lamp cage 2918 is specially designed for the Sony A7 III, A7R III and A9 system cameras and offers both protection and mounting options for accessories. The lamp cage is made of durable aluminum and maintains open access to the camera's controls. It has multiple 1/4"-20 threads and ARRI-style 3/8"-16 anti-twist mounts for attaching accessories. There are multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom to add an optional quick release plate or mount the cage to a tripod. You can mount the camera to the cage using a 1/4"-20 screw and a screw on the side to prevent the camera from twisting. Rubber padding on the base of the cage prevents the camera from being damaged by scratches . An integrated belt lock allows you to add an optional wrist or shoulder strap. A screwdriver is included to tighten the screws and can be stored in the base of the cage.
