This kit includes a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, and an ergonomic top handle that improves camera movement for smooth low-angle shots.

The cage is securely attached using a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and a positioning block on the side, enabling an anti-deflection mount without needing to remove the camera's eyelets. Built-in pads provide all-round protection and prevent scratches. Precise cut-outs ensure unobstructed access to the camera's ports, dials, buttons, and battery compartment. A hinged arm at the battery compartment offers extra grip for the little finger, and the included HDMI cable clamp ensures stable data transfer.

Multiple mounting points are available, including 1/4"-20 screw holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI positioning holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 4485) and top handles (SmallRig ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows you to attach devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD connector on the bottom enables shoulder straps for improved portability. The base also features a magnetic hex key for quick assembly and disassembly.

The bottom quick release plate, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), enables fast and automatic attachment. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate ensures a seamless transition between handheld shooting, tripod use, and gimbal use (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini stabilisers).
