SmallRig 4257B Cage kit for Sony ZV-E1
The SmallRig 4257B Cage kit for Sony ZV-E1 is designed to provide versatile mounting options whilst protecting both the camera body and the HDMI interface. This kit includes a cage with an integrated silicone grip and an HDMI cable clamp.
The cage features a three-point locking system with a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two positioning blocks — one on each side — for stability. The built-in ergonomic silicone handle significantly improves grip comfort.
The included HDMI cable clamp attaches to the left side of the cage using a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew and two anti-twist positioning pins, enabling tool-free installation and a secure cable connection. This design effectively protects the camera's HDMI port and ensures stable data transfer.
The cage offers extensive expansion options, including multiple 1/4"-20 screw holes and 3/8"-16 ARRI positioning holes for attaching optional accessories such as top handles (SmallRig ID 3765) or side grips (SmallRig ID 2913) to improve handheld shooting stability. The top ARRI mounting hole enables monitor mounting via compatible monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903B). Dual cold shoe mounts allow you to attach microphones (compatible with DJI MIC 2), lights, and more, whilst the bottom QD socket supports QD shoulder straps. In addition, strap slots on both sides and the bottom accommodate wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848) and shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 5208).
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate ensures seamless transitions between tripods and gimbals (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro). A magnetic hex key on the base makes mounting and dismounting straightforward.
