The SmallRig 5228 V-mount Battery Mount Plate is designed for systems with V-mount plates without power supply, such as the SmallRig models 4505 / 4064B / 4063B, and enables power distribution to multiple devices as well as quick battery swaps. The kit includes a V-mount battery plate and an LCD screen protector. The system can be quickly mounted on any V-mount compatible system using a V-mount adapter plate, allowing the V-mount battery to be connected effortlessly for seamless power delivery.

Strategically positioned power outputs on the V-mount battery plate, including D-Tap and USB-C, enable simultaneous power supply to multiple devices without interfering with camera or handle operation. The USB-C port supports PD input of up to 65 W, allowing it to function as a V-mount battery charger. The modular LCD screen protector is tool-lessly adjustable in height and width, fits most mirrorless cameras with a tilting screen, and protects against impacts.

The battery release button features a safety lever with adjustable activation, preventing accidental disconnection and ensuring safe operation. In addition, the V-mount plate is equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 threaded and positioning holes, making it easier to attach accessories such as magic arms (SmallRig ID 3238B / 3873) for wireless transmitters and professional setups.
