The SmallRig 5518 "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III (Advanced Edition) "BumbleBee Edition" is designed for easy disassembly during handheld shooting, reducing arm fatigue and improving stability. The kit offers a wide range of accessory mounting options and includes a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, a top handle, a rotating side handle, and a monitor mount. The patented, in-house quick-release design (called HawkLock) covers the cold shoe, NATO rails, and Arca quick-release plate — stable without misalignment, with one press to load, release to lock, and smooth sliding for more efficient disassembly and assembly.
The monitor and monitor mount, the monitor mount and top handle, the top handle and cage, and the side handle and cage are all quick-release compatible for fast disassembly and assembly. The cold shoe, NATO rails, and Arca quick-release plate are compatible with standard cold shoe, NATO clamp, and Arca-Swiss clamp accessories, saving you money and hassle. The monitor mount supports 180° tilt and 360° horizontal adjustment, allowing comfortable viewing from any angle.
The top handle features an ergonomic design for a comfortable grip, making it ideal for handheld use and low-angle shooting. The rotating side handle supports stepless rotation by pressing downward, maintaining a comfortable grip throughout the angle change. The HDMI cable clamp protects the interface for more stable signal transfer, and the cage features a three-point locking mechanism that keeps it secure and shake-free.
The bottom of the cage and the underside of the side handle feature built-in disassembly tools that are easy to remove and use, allowing the kit to be taken apart quickly and conveniently.
