The SmallRig 5585 Megatron Edition Mobile Dual Handheld Kit for iPhone 17 Pro is a professional dual-camera filming solution, specifically designed for the iPhone 17 Pro. It lets you record professional videos, livestream, and shoot short films. This complete kit includes a phone case, a video cage, a rotating handle with wireless control, a rotating side handle, a soft TPU bumper, and two backplanes for external lenses.
In addition to everyday protection for your phone, the case comes standard with a T-mount backplate and a 17 mm threaded backplate for external lenses. The T-mount backplate can be replaced with a 67 mm magnetic filter adapter (sold separately) for enhanced optical output.
The phone can be placed in the cage with the case on. The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist threaded holes and cold shoe mounts, making it expandable with accessories such as handles, tripods, microphones, and lights. Classic quick-release connections enable efficient setups both handheld and on a tripod.
On the side, there are attachment points for professional wrist and shoulder straps with a diameter of less than 2 mm, keeping your hands free between shots. The hollowed-out design ensures that all iPhone buttons, ports, the radar system, the ultra-wide-angle lens, and the wireless charging function remain accessible.
The quick-lock mechanism makes mounting and dismounting the phone easy and secure, preventing accidental unlocking and ejection. The all-metal construction provides comprehensive protection, shock absorption, and scratch resistance. For underwater shooting or situations requiring high cooling performance, the phone can be used without the case by mounting it directly in the cage together with the soft TPU bumper. When more compact storage is needed while travelling, the cage can be disassembled for a smaller footprint.
The handles attach to the cage using the HawkLock H11 quick-release mechanism, enabling mounting and dismounting in just one second. The steplessly rotating handles provide a comfortable grip and smooth operation from any angle.
The detachable wireless remote control supports one-press shooting from a distance of up to 10 metres.
