This kit includes a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, a "HawkLock" side handle, a "HawkLock" top handle, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail. Both the side and top handles feature SmallRig's patented "HawkLock" quick-release system, enabling fast, auto-locking attachment that significantly improves stability when shooting handheld. In addition, the side handle supports stepless 360° rotation at the press of a button for flexible shooting angles. A two-point locking mechanism provides a secure, anti-twist attachment of the cage without requiring removal of the camera's eyelets.

The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as monitor brackets and "HawkLock" handles. A built-in cold shoe mount accommodates devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD socket on the base allows a shoulder strap to be attached. The base also features a magnetic hex key for quick assembly and disassembly.

The quick-release plate on the base, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), enables fast attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate ensures a seamless transition between handheld, tripod, and gimbal configurations (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro).

A hinged flap at the battery compartment provides extra grip for the little finger, while the included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable firmly for stable data transfer.
