The SmallRig 5694 Arca-Type Side Handle with Rec Trigger is designed to enhance handheld shooting by providing smooth camera movements and significantly improving vertical shooting. This handle can easily be attached to any optional accessory featuring standard Arca-Swiss quick-release plates, including cages, L-brackets, and vertical mounting plates (SmallRig ID 5594). The integrated REC button on top allows you to start recording directly from the handle, eliminating the need to press the camera buttons for smoother operation and more stable footage.

Compatible with multiple camera brands — including Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic — thanks to interchangeable control cables, this handle features an ergonomic, textured silicone grip for superior anti-slip performance and comfort in cold weather. The reversible Arca-Swiss adapter suits both left- and right-handed users, while the 36 mm vertical adjustment ensures optimal balance during shooting.

For added functionality, the handle features multiple integrated mounting points: a cold shoe mount for microphones (SmallRig ID 3487) or LED lights (SmallRig ID 4660, 4055), and a strap hole for wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848). A magnetic hex key is also included for quick assembly and disassembly.
