SmallRig 5708 Monitor Cage Kit for Atomos Ninja TX
The SmallRig 5708 Monitor Cage Kit for Atomos Ninja TX is designed to provide robust protection and versatile mounting options for the device. The kit includes a cage, a lens hood (SmallRig ID VH2269), an HDMI and USB-C cable clamp, a dedicated USB-C cable clamp, and a screen protector. The integrated lens hood significantly improves screen visibility in bright shooting environments.
The cage features a built-in "HawkLock" H21 NATO rail, compatible with the "HawkLock" monitor mount (SmallRig ID 4888) and the tilt and swivel monitor mount (SmallRig ID 2906B), enabling quick attachment and release. It is equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories such as the Monitor Mount (SmallRig ID 2903B) and Magic Arm (SmallRig ID 3873), along with ARRI 3/8"-16 mounting holes for attaching the Magic Arm (SmallRig ID 4900). The strap holes at the top and bottom allow convenient attachment of a shoulder strap. Designed for durability and stability, the cage features a two-point locking system that minimises vibrations during use.
The included cable clamps secure both HDMI and USB-C connectors firmly and are compatible with original Atomos cables. They can be mounted directly onto the monitor or attached to the cage, preventing accidental disconnection for stable data transfer. In addition, the lens hood and screen protector work together to improve visibility in bright light whilst simultaneously protecting the screen against scratches.
