With its minimalist size, this mini flash is a perfect match for compact mirrorless cameras such as the Fujifilm X100 series, Sony A7C series, Nikon Zf and Ricoh GR cameras. The mini flash has a low weight of just 45 grams. The flash head can be tilted up to 85 degrees, allowing you to use both direct and bounce flash. By bouncing the light off a ceiling or wall, you create softer and more natural lighting for portraits, events or indoor shots. With a guide number of GN8, the SmallRig 5883 delivers more power than many built-in camera flashes. Via the four adjustable power settings from 1/1 to 1/8, you can easily adapt the light output to any situation. At the lowest setting, the fast recycle time even supports continuous shooting, ideal for spontaneous moments and fast street photography. The built-in 400mAh battery is rechargeable via USB-C and provides approximately 700 to 2000 flashes per charge, depending on the selected power. This allows you to shoot for a full day without any trouble and without carrying separate batteries.
