The SmallRig 5887 Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 (Advanced Edition) is specially designed for the DJI Osmo Action 6. This fully enclosed metal cage offers robust protection against impacts whilst ensuring unobstructed access to all buttons and ports. Multiple expansion interfaces allow accessories to be attached seamlessly, improving shooting efficiency. The kit includes the cage, a wrist strap, a silicone lens cap, and an Allen key.

The cage features a cold shoe mount for attaching optional lights or audio accessories, such as the DJI Mic 2 or the SmallRig Video Light (SmallRig ID 5446). In addition, the cage has magnetic quick-release connections on the side, compatible with both DJI's original Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount and SmallRig's Dual-Mount Quick Release Supports (SmallRig ID 5890, 5779, 5991). This design makes it effortless to switch between horizontal and vertical orientation.

The battery compartment is directly accessible from the side without removing the cage, making the battery easy to replace. Additionally, an opening on the side allows you to attach the included wrist strap for extra security when shooting handheld. The silicone lens cap protects the lens from scratches when not in use.

The detachable quick-release plate, which can be easily removed using the included Allen key, retains the full functionality of the cage and the camera's magnetic quick-release connection after removal.
