The SmallRig HawkLock Cage is a modular U-shaped cage for the Sony FX5, which firmly secures your camera via multiple 1/4"-20 screws on the sides and bottom for stable, torsion-resistant mounting. The silicone padding prevents scratches, while all controls and connections remain fully accessible. The removable top plate gives you flexibility: remove it to install the Sony XLR handle (XLR-H2B) or an electronic viewfinder (DVFEL1B), so you adapt the cage to a wide range of shooting situations without compromising on protection.

The HawkLock quick release ecosystem, with NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate, works via a self-locking one-push slide-in mechanism for instant attachment of handles, monitor mounts and other accessories. The anti-drop design on both ends increases safety, even in demanding shooting environments. The professional expansion hub offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes, ARRI locating holes, cold shoe mounts, a QD connection and pole strap slots for attaching monitors, microphones, lights, magic arms, top and side handles and shoulder straps. A dedicated cable clamp protects the HDMI connection and ensures stable signal transmission, while the magnetic Allen key is stored in the cage itself for quick, tool-free mounting.
