The SmallRig HawkLock Cage Kit for Sony FX5 & XLR Handle protects your camera and offers extensive mounting points for accessories. The cage is specially designed for use with the Sony XLR-H2B handle and adds an enclosed handle extension that makes the original XLR top handle sturdier and more comfortable to hold, with extra room to attach accessories. The included wrist strap makes filming easier during handheld use, making the kit particularly suitable for documentary and interview footage.

A dedicated HDMI cable clamp ensures stable signal transmission while filming. The cage offers multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 screw holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, cold shoe mounts, a NATO rail and a QD connection, suitable for attaching handles, microphones, video lights, monitors and more. The HawkLock quick release system on the NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate is compatible with the wider HawkLock accessory ecosystem, including the Magic Arm, Side Handle and Arca-Swiss Clamp.
