The SmallRig Extension Mount Plate Kit is specially designed for the Sony XLR-H2 handle and upgrades the original handle into a more capable production tool, without adding unnecessary extra bulk. The enclosed handle extension provides a sturdier, more comfortable grip at various angles, reducing hand fatigue during long documentary shoots, interviews and run-and-gun productions where the XLR handle is essential.

The built-in HawkLock NATO rail works via a self-locking slide-in mechanism, allowing you to quickly switch between different accessory configurations on set. The plate has 1/4"-20 screw holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes and 1/4"-20 locating holes for attaching magic arms, monitors or wireless transmitters, making your rig suitable for professional video productions. Thanks to compatibility with traditional cold shoes and NATO clamp accessories, the kit works seamlessly with your existing SmallRig accessories, without extra adapters.
