The Smallrig 3940 is designed to protect the camera and attach additional accessories. The cage locks the camera in place via a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and a side lock adapter on the right side. The rubber pads prevent scratches and damage. Meanwhile, you have full access to the buttons, card slots, flip screen and battery door.
