SmallRig Camera cage for Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K 4785
The SmallRig Camera cage for Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K 4785 is designed for handheld shooting with smooth camera movement. It protects the camera and offers various expansion options. The three-point locking system secures the camera with two 1/4"-20 screws at the bottom and a 1/4"-20 screw at the top, while integrated silicone pads prevent scratches. The cage provides unobstructed access to all camera interfaces, card slots, flip screen and battery compartment. The lens mount adapter mount is compatible with the Sigma MC-31, Sigma MC-21 and similar lens adapters, preventing damage to the camera mount.
The cage features 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI location holes for attaching optional accessories such as side handles (2093, 4016), top handles (2165C), monitor mounts (2903, 2904), Manfrotto base plates (1280, 2458), tripods (3989) and more. In addition, integrated 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI location holes and cold shoe mount allow attachment of optional accessories such as magic arms (3873), cable clamps (3271, 3289, 2960), and protective interface covers to prevent signal loss.
Two 1/4"-20 threaded holes at the handle prevent the camera from rotating in portrait mode. The slider on the left side allows quick attachment of optional swivel handles (3847) and sliding handles (4017) and facilitates quick mounting of accessories. Built-in cold shoe mounts accommodate optional microphones, LED video lights, SSD mounting brackets (ID 3272, 2343) and more. The QD interface enables seamless integration with QD quick release shoulder straps (4118). The cage can be converted into a half cage for stabiliser setups, allowing easy levelling. In addition, the cage is equipped with a magnetic hex key at the bottom to facilitate mounting and dismounting of accessories.
