Sony PXW-Z200 4K HDR XDCAM Camcorder
The Sony PXW-Z200 is a 4K HDR XDCAM camcorder with intelligent, reliable recording and transmission functions. Shoot professional videos in 4K HDR resolution, simplified by 20x optical zoom, AI autofocus and extensive recording format options. The difference between the PXW-Z200 and the HXR-NX800 is that this model, the PXW-Z200, has built-in 12G-SDI and TC in/out support.
The Sony G-lens has 20x optical zoom, a variable ND filter and night-vision mode. The electronically adjustable ND filter with an auto ND function automatically sets the optimum exposure for you. The camcorder captures video footage with crisp detail and vivid colours. The high-quality, multilayer Exmor RS CMOS Type 1.0 sensor ensures sharp, accurate images. Film in 4K at 120fps or in Full HD at 240fps. Thanks to full pixel readout and real-time BIONZ XR™ image processing, all details are retained.
Thanks to Sony's advanced AI processing unit, the camcorder has lightning-fast, precise focusing. The AI chip provides fast hybrid autofocus, real-time tracking and auto-framing. Thanks to 81% Phase Detection with 475 focus points, you easily follow your subject through the frame. Images are smooth and stable thanks to Active Mode image stabilisation.
The camcorder makes it easy to give your images the look of a professional broadcast or film production. Use one of the presets such as S-Cinetone, ITU709, 709tone, HLG Live, HLG Mild or HLG Natural and then adjust the black, matrix and other parameters as required. The Z200 offers multiple recording formats for different production requirements. For instance, you can record XAVC for enhanced comptability with MXF-based workflows. Or work in XACX S-I in 10-bit 4:2:2 with intra-frame H.264 for extended post-production.
Stream directly from the camcorder in high quality with integrated 2.4GHz and 5GHz WLAN. The Monitor & Control app lets you easily control composition via your smartphone or tablet. The Z200 also offers built-in 12G-SDI with four times the bandwidth of 3G-SDI over a single cable. The camcorder also has TC in/out support. Other connectivity options include HDMI, digital Mi-Shoe, XLR, WiFi/LAN, LANC and Bluetooth.
