The BM-H215HDR offers 4 SDI inputs and 2 SDI loop outputs, and supports multiple 4K inputs, including: 12G-SDI Single Link 4K / 4x3G-SDI Quad Link 4K (SQD and 2SI) / HDMI 2.0 (4K60P). Supports pixel-per-pixel zoom of the 4K signal to a Full HD panel.
Supports Single Link 4K input, including 12G-SDI, HDMI® 2.0 and Quad Link 4x 3G-SDI 4K inputs. You can also feed 4 independent sources for multiview, or 2 sources for Pic-by-Pic or Pic-in-Pic display. Supports 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI and HDMI 2.0/1.4/1.3 mixed formats, as well as waveform, vectorscope and audio meters, EOTF and colour gamut selection for each input.
The BM-H215HDR QLED panel features a Quantum Dot layer between the LCD screen and the LED backlight. This layer transforms the LED spectrum to reduce blue light and balance the R/G/B peaks, stimulating the cone cells in the eyes more evenly and effectively reducing visual fatigue.
The VICO test (Visual Health and Comfort) achieves a score of 1.97, Class A, protecting your eyes during extended video editing sessions or broadcast studio productions.
The BM-H215HDR features a native high-brightness backlight of 1,000 nits and supports HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), Dolby Vision PQ, SONY S-Log3 HDR and Gamma 1.0/1.8/2.2/2.4/2.6 SDR EOTFs, as well as colour gamut selection covering LCD native, REC.709, DCI-P3 and REC.2020.
Supports identification of the input video Payload ID, after which the monitor automatically sets the HDR/SDR EOTFs, colour gamut, input range, colour space and colour depth based on the Payload ID information.
Supports 1 input source copied to 4 windows, simultaneously displaying different HDR/SDR and colour gamma settings. This gives you an accurate reference when producing HDR and SDR content simultaneously.
With built-in 3D LUT calibration software (software copyright), the monitor supports X-Rite i1 and Jeti Specbos 1211 probes that can be connected directly to the monitor's USB port. The monitor generates colour patterns, the colour probes read the colour and send the colour information to the monitor via USB. The monitor then compares the colour difference, generates a 3D LUT and calibrates itself automatically. Calibration time: X-Rite i1 15 min, Specbos 1211 45 min. Calibration result: ΔE≤1.0.
Supports Zero Latency mode (less than 1/100 frame) for lip-sync monitoring. The monitor features built-in multi-camera log to HLG1000, PQ1000 and Rec.709 SDR conversion LUTs, including Log-C, C-Log, S-Log2, S-Log3, V-Log, J-Log1, RedLogFilm, and more. You can also upload user LUTs to the monitor via a USB drive; supports 17x17x17 3D LUT cube files.
Up to 16 built-in audio meters, with the option to select 2 audio channels for output via the speaker or 3.5 mm headphone jack. In addition, BM-H monitors support Lissajous figures and 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound patterns.
Built-in eye pattern to check the quality of incoming video transmission via an SDI cable, in particular 12G-SDI signal quality.
The BM-H215HDR supports remote control via a web server over an Ethernet LAN connection. Use a web browser on your computer to access the monitor's control panel and select input sources, adjust image parameters, configure video/audio functions and assign function keys — all without installing any app.
