The SWIT KA-S30S High load with multi-sockets Hot-Swap Plate (V-Mount to V-mount) is an extended V-mount plate with built-in battery cells. When swapping the battery, the plate takes over power supply until a new battery is installed. With this hot-swap plate, you don't need to switch off your camera.

Please note: (1) The KA-S30S is not compatible with the original V-V battery plate of the RED V-Raptor, but is compatible with battery plates from TILTA, Wooden Camera, and all other third-party V-mount plates. (2) The KA-S30S is a standard-size V-mount and does not fit directly on cameras with a limited V-mount format, such as the RED KOMODO-X or V-Raptor.

The KA-S30S features a CNC-machined aluminium housing, 4 battery cells, a nominal voltage of 14.4V, a capacity of 43Wh, and a continuous output of 200W under high load. The full-capacity circuit board guarantees a minimum of 2 minutes at a 200W load, even after 1,000 charge cycles.

The hot-swap circuit board is equipped with an LCD display showing the countdown in seconds when swapping the battery. When the battery is removed, the display counts down from 120 seconds. Simply insert a new battery before the counter reaches 0. The new battery also charges the hot-swap circuit board. After a set period of time, the counter will reset to 120 seconds.

  • 1x 2-pin LEMO 12–16.8V 38W/3A output
  • 2x D-tap 12–16.8V 125W/10A output
  • 1x USB-A 5V/2A output
  • 1x 8-pin LEMO 12–16.8V input (for hot-swapping the power supply unit)

The KA-S30S comes with a 15mm Rod Adapter, which can be mounted on 15mm rig systems to power cameras without a V-mount plate.
