The included diffuser cap ensures even, non-glare light distribution, ideal for close-up interviews and professional film shoots. The SMD LED of the S-2241 features a wide beam angle of 120°, generating a more uniform and broader light spread compared to traditional DIP LED lamps.

Based on 100% brightness at the centre, the light distribution at the edge (50%) still achieves a half beam angle of 68°. This means the light is spread evenly across the entire environment, rather than being concentrated solely in the centre.

Each SMD LED of the S-2241 is equipped with LEDs featuring colour temperatures of 5600K and 3200K, allowing the colour temperature to be adjusted steplessly between 3200K and 5600K. The bi-colour SMD LED is more reliable and offers a more consistent colour temperature.

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures a light source's ability to render the colours of various objects faithfully compared to natural light. TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) is specifically designed to measure a camera sensor's ability to reproduce colours. The maximum value is 100. Standard LED lighting typically has a CRI or TLCI of 80–85, whereas the S-2241 delivers a super-high CRI of 93 and a TLCI of 97, preserving the true colours of subjects.

The S-2241 comes with a diffuser cap that attaches magnetically to the front of the LEDs. The diffuser cap is made from PC material with an organic light-diffusing agent, which increases light transmission and produces a soft, non-glare, and comfortable lighting effect.

The S-2241 accepts a wide voltage range of 6–17V, allowing you to draw power from V-mount/Gold-mount batteries or DV batteries. At an input voltage of 6–10V (DV battery), the S-2241 will step down to 12W to conserve energy. The S-2241 also supports the SWIT S-7004 series of click-on DV battery plates, enabling you to use a variety of DV batteries.
