The SWIT S-8975 75Wh/10.4Ah NP-F-type (Sony L-series) DV battery with DC-pole in/output is the replacement battery for the Sony NP-F970 and is compatible with Sony HVR-V1/Z1/Z7, DSR-PD190, HD1000E, etc. The S-8975 can exchange digital information with the camera and display the remaining battery capacity in the camera's viewfinder.

With a nominal voltage of 7.2V, the S-8975 has a capacity of 75Wh / 10.4Ah. On the side of the S-8975 battery there is a 5.5/2.1 mm DC output for connection at 7.2V (nominal). You can connect an on-camera LED light, a monitor, or a wireless transmitter to the DC output whilst simultaneously supplying power to the camera. The maximum output power of the DC output is 30W, 4A.

The S-8975 battery features 4-level LED battery indicators to check the remaining capacity. This allows you to quickly read the capacity before using the battery. The S-8975 can be charged using the SWIT two-channel charger S-3602F or the four-channel charger LC-D421. It takes approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes to charge the battery from empty to 100%.
