The Tamron 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD is a pioneering lens, developed in response to user feedback that "the angle of view of the shortest focal length is not optimal" when using a 70-300mm lens. This 50-300mm lens therefore offers much more flexibility when shooting.

The lens construction consists of 19 elements in 14 groups, including two XLD and two LD elements. Thanks to these special elements, aberrations are effectively reduced and you enjoy high image quality across the entire zoom range. In addition, the autofocus is equipped with Tamron's VXD linear motor. This fast and highly accurate autofocus system allows you to focus easily and quickly from the shortest focusing distance of 22 centimetres to infinity. Furthermore, the lens also features the VC mechanism, which effectively reduces camera shake.

Among other things, this 50-300mm lens is very suitable for macro photography. You get exceptionally close up to a distance of 22 centimetres and with the maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at a focal length of 50mm, you can easily take fascinating semi-macro shots.

The lens is hugely compact at just 150mm long and weighing just 665g, this lens is one of the lightest in its class.
