Tilta Camera Cage for Nikon ZR Base Kit - Black
The foundation of the Tilta Camera Cage for Nikon ZR Base Kit (Black) is the full camera cage, which provides enhanced protection for the Nikon ZR camera body and also serves as a base for attaching additional accessories. Mounting points include M3 threads, a cold shoe receiver, 1/4"-20 threads with positioning points, and a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 adapter.
This camera cage features two additional contact points. A safety mount at the top left attaches to the camera's strap lug, while a positioning pin at the bottom, next to the 1/4"-20 thread, prevents the camera from rotating within the cage.
Thanks to the modular design, the full cage can be disassembled into an L-shaped half cage when needed. This results in fewer mounting points but reduces the overall weight of the system — ideal for filmmakers using gimbals or moving quickly whilst shooting.
The included cable clamp attaches to the side of the cage and provides extra security for a USB-C and Micro HDMI cable. The included thumbscrews make this accessory quick and easy to adjust.
This kit also includes the Xeno Top Handle, which attaches to the top plate via a 1/4"-20 thread and improves ease of use with an elegant design that offers more room. This handle provides a variety of mounting options for additional accessories, including a 1/4"-20 thread and a cold shoe receiver — ideal for mounting an external monitor.
