The Viltrox AF 50mm f/2 AIR combines a compact, lightweight design with exceptional image quality. This lens offers full-frame coverage and fits a wide range of L-mount cameras. Thanks to the small, light housing, you take it with you effortlessly for spontaneous shots, and the versatile 50mm focal length makes it suitable for almost every situation.

The lens is suitable for both beginners and advanced users. Thanks to the quiet Viltrox STM motor, you focus quickly and accurately, and with support for eye and face detection (depending on your camera model) you don't miss a single moment, in both photo and video. You don't have to bother with manual focusing; the autofocus does the work so you can concentrate on your subject.

This lens is based on the characteristic lightweight design of the AIR series and delivers excellent image quality without compromise.

The advanced optical design ensures sharpness from the centre to the edge and clear, high-contrast images with low distortion. With the large f/2 aperture, you create a beautifully blurred background and perform well in low light. For video, you benefit from minimal focus breathing, and together with the image stabilisation (IBIS) in your camera, you keep your footage nicely stable.
