Zeiss Metal Case Secacam 5
Protect your Zeiss Secacam 5 from theft and vandalism with the Zeiss Metal Case Secacam 5. Unfortunately, vandals and thieves don't stick to other people's property, even in the woods or on privéland. The metal housing offers your Zeiss Secacam 5 extra protection with a steel layer.
The robust housing encloses the entire Camera. Precisely fitting cut-outs on the front ensure that camera functions are not affected. The camouflage pattern across the entire surface makes it easier to hide the Camera in natural surroundings.
An opening between the side panels and the Camera serves as a buffer for better protection against impacts. This makes the Camera more resistant to light falls or direct physical force. The side slots prevent rainwater from accumulating and allow it to drain quickly.
A magnet integrated into the locking element ensures that the housing closes reliably and completely. To increase the Protection of your Zeiss Secacam 5, the metal housing can be closed with a padlock (sold separately).
There are several mounting options on the back of the metal housing:
- A 6-mm screw hole allows mounting with tripod brackets to trees or other objects
- Thanks to the eyelets, the housing can be secured with a cable lock
- An additional pair of eyes allows mounting with a mounting strap, as supplied with the Zeiss Secacam cameras
- An additional pair of eyes allows mounting with a mounting strap, as supplied with the Zeiss Secacam cameras.- Alternatively, the metal housing can be screwed directly onto suitable surfaces with a suitable standard-threaded screw
The power connector on the bottom of the Camera remains accessible even when using the metal housing, allowing an external power supply to be connected.
