The Zoom F6 Multitrack Field Recorder is an ultra-compact field recorder for audio recording on location. With six XLR connections you are ready for any job. Thanks to the 32-bit float recording quality with dual A / D converters, you can record crystal clear sound. Even in changing circumstances, you won't be bothered by interruption by loud sounds or find soft sounds hard to hear, without changing the settings! This is because of the range of the low noise (-127dBu) and the high gain (75dB).

The compact size makes it possible to take the F6 with you wherever you go. It fits in your bag, but can also be mounted directly under your DSLR or system camera. The clear LCD screen shows all the information needed. In addition, the interface has been made very user-friendly. Control with smartphone is possible via the F Controll App (optional BTA-1 adapter required) or with the separately available FRC-8 control panel.

To keep all your audio and video tracks in sync, the F6 has a built-in timecode that can be linked to your other devices on the set. This way you are guaranteed to have accurate time codes. In 24-bit mode, the F6 can pick up loud sounds with a one millisecond delay before recording them to prevent clipping. The AutoMix mode makes your life a lot easier and adjusts the audio levels automatically to the ambient noise.

Record audio with an SDXC card (not included). Various options are available for power supply. With a Sony L-series battery you can record up to 16 hours of continuous audio. With four AA batteries, the total recording time is approximately 7.5 hours. In addition, an optional USB ZOOM AD-17 adapter can power the F6.
