Extra sockets at the top of the tripod make it possible to attach optional accessories and attachment points for the shoulder strap. This Mark 2 tripod can be locked/unlocked more quickly and is more resistant to weather influences. Redesigned twist-locks prevent grit and dirt from contaminating the threads. An opening at the top of each leg ensures efficient air transfer when stretching or collapsing, for quick assembly and disassembly.
