The SmallRig 4621 RC 220B Pro COB LED Video Light (EU) is a two-colour lamp with a modular housing and various operating modes. The lamp housing can be connected to the adapter via a V-mount, simplifying mounting and possible adjustments. In addition, V-mount and NP-F970 batteries (NP-F adapter required) and the supplied power adapter can be connected, greatly increasing the choice of operating options.
Compared to the previous model, the Pro version consumes about 10 per cent less power at the same brightness. In addition, it delivers not only high brightness, but also uniform light distribution and a high CRI of at least 95. Light attenuation has also been revised to achieve better linearity at dimming. Colour temperature also remains more consistent, minimising any colour variations. Aimed primarily at small studios and individual vloggers, the light is controlled via manual input on the body itself or via an app, control panel and DMX. During operation, it is extremely quiet with a noise level of only 29 dB at 1 m distance and can cover a wide range of applications thanks to its 6 m long power cable. The RC 220B Pro has a Bowens mount for the highest possible accessory compatibility. Thanks to the included bag, the lamp can also be easily stored and transported.
