With the Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Kit (1.2 x 1.2m), you have everything you need to reflect or diffuse any kind of light. This easy-to-use kit is designed to prepare you for the unexpected when you're on set. With a modular anodised aluminium frame, positively locking connectors provide extra support on a windy afternoon or a long day of shooting. This frame features four 117-cm frame tubes and breaks down quickly and easily. A 3/4-stop diffuser softens the available studio lighting without changing the colour temperature, while the double-laminated reversible silver/white bounce fabric reflects the light to add highlights and illuminate the subject. Easy to take apart, this portable system is ideal for photographers and filmmakers who travel frequently.
The included Scrim Jim Cine 3/4-Stop diffuser allows you to soften ambient and artificial light sources. It features a robust lining with Velcro for quick installation and easy portability. Made of nylon and silk, the diffuser does not affect the colour temperature of light sources and helps maintain natural-looking skin tones. The plain diffuser fabric is suitable for both artificial and ambient light sources and is ideal for use overhead, to soften bright sunlight or to place in front of a main light source for wide diffusion.
The Scrim Jim Cine silver/white versatile double-sided reflective fabric features a sturdy lining with Velcro for quick installation and easy portability. This reversible fabric has both bright, cool silver and neutral white reflective sides, allowing you to quickly switch between applications. The silver side adds bright, reflective highlights and an overall cooling quality, while the white side produces soft, natural-looking highlights.
Easily carry and store your Cine frame system in the included carrying bag. Designed to store the Scrim Jim frame tubes, connectors, fabrics and mounts, this carry bag is just under 1.20 metres long, allowing 117 cm long Scrim Jim tubes to fit comfortably. Padded handles and sturdy zips ensure your gear is well protected as it travels from one location to another.
