WOLFEN Color 400 Super 8, 15 m ISO 250-400 offers a unique and unëven appearance, making it ideal for commercials, short films, television shows, flashbacks, documentaries, music or skate videos and many other projects.
This film has no soot gelatine layer on the back ("RemJet") and is therefore easy to develop. Can be developed with different features in ECN-2 or C-41. Generation 2.0 (manufactured from original WOLFEN NC400 material, assembled and packaged by Wittner Cinetec). Development not included in the film price.

Original Wolfen Color 400 is a completely newly developed colour negative film and is manufactured in Germany. The material is designed for daylight photography, but can also be used in artificial light with appropriate filtering. This versatile film has a pleasant grain structure and a great nostalgic character.

The texture and unique colour rendering create a wonderful retro charm and are instantly recognisable to all as analogue. A stylistic feature where cine film is used in greater quantities today within otherwise all-digital productions. This uniqueness and quick recognition as photographic film are the advantages and strengths of this material.

The best results are achieved when exposed to 200-250 ASA (this produces a denser negative). For mechanical development, equipment suitable for 8mm or 16mm film should be used, as this equipment transports the film more gently and with less film tension. Above all, avoid applying too much pressure to the moist emulsion.
