The Z-CAM S1 VR 360 degree panorama camera Black uses four Sony CMOS image sensors to create high-quality spherical VR video in 6K at 30 or 4K at 60 fps. You can connect the images together or use live streaming by means of the supplied software. Currently, these programs are only compatible with Windows. Mac computers will also be supported in future updates.
The four fisheye lenses are made up of 10-layer, professional optical lenses, which minimize distortion and flare. Unlike VR systems in a video sequence, the S1's four integrated sensors provide coordinated auto exposure and white balance functions. The built-in Z CAM Sync hardware provides synchronized recording, and Z-Log gamma allows image adjustment and colour correction.
The Z-CAM S1 operates on four separately available 18650 batteries in the battery unit. The compact, cylindrical housing of the S1 is 25 cm high. Thanks to the included AC adapter, you also have the option of using the S1 without the detachable battery unit. As a result, the VR camera is only 15 cm high. The S1 has a slim design and has a diameter of only 10 cm. The camera can be used at a distance of 80 cm from the subject. In addition, the Z-CAM S1 includes four SD card slots.
