This filter fulfills the desire of many photographers. It provides protection for the lens without adding an effect to the photo. The function of the 007 Clear filter is to protect the lens from moisture, sand, scratches etcetera. The extremely clear glass with high light transmission includes an MRC coating.
Multi-Resistant Coating
MRC of B + W is not only an extraordinarily effective multilayer coating. It is also harder than glass, so that the coating protects the filter against scratches (for example, when cleaning the filter). Both water and moisture as well as dust and dirt particles hardly adhere to the filter surface, which makes for an even longer guaranteed high optical quality of the filter.
