Description
The Hoya Digital Filter Kit II consists of three different filters that form a complete set for every photographer. These filters are suitable for daily use and offer you the possibility to optimally use your own creativity in your photos. This Digital Filter Kit II contains a UV (C) filter, a Circular Polarization filter and an ND filter with a filter size of 62 mm.
Features of the Hoya 62mm Digital Filter Kit II (3 filters)
- Complete set with three filters
- Filter size of 62mm
- Use your own creativity
- UV filter to protect your lens
- CP filter ideal for landscape photography
- ND filter for slower shutter speeds and larger aperture
UV HMC C filter
Using a UV filter reduces cast, blue and violet are corrected for color photos and black and white photos become sharper. The multi-coating also reduces annoying reflections. A UV filter is recommended to protect multi-coated lenses against damage such as scratches, and to reduce the UV light. The UV filter has a filter factor of zero and has no influence on the exposure.
Circular Polarizing filter
Polarization filters are filters that are often used for special situations. A CP filter is a bit bluer compared to a UV filter. This means, among other things, that light loss occurs through the filter. It is therefore not advisable to use a CP filter indoors or in the evening on a lens. A CP filter is nice to use for landscape photos, by turning the CP filter you can have different colors of blue appear. So you can decide for yourself how blue you want your sky to be. A CP filter is also recommended for water surfaces. You can use the filter to choose whether the water is reflective or if you want to photograph "in depth".
NDx8 Gray filter
An ND filter reduces the amount of light that enters the lens, but does not affect the colors in your photos. For example, faster shutter speeds or a larger aperture can be selected. You can think of photographing running water or cloudy skies and working with a smaller depth of field. This ND filter is good for 3 stops less light.
