The AGM NVG-40 features the best multi-coated optics on the consumer market and is built for a long service life with a lightweight yet robust housing. The device is built around commercial-grade image intensifier tubes (Gen 2+), resulting in a very attractive price-to-performance ratio. The bright light cut-off ensures that your high-quality electronics remain protected. The NVG-40 is also equipped with Manual Gain Control, allowing you to adjust image brightness so you can personalise your night vision experience during the most daring adventures. The AGM NVG-40 runs on a single AA alkaline battery or CR123A battery and can last up to 20 hours. It also features an integrated infrared illuminator for visibility in complete darkness.

For hands-free use, the NVG can be mounted on various mounting systems, such as the AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15 and AN/PVS-18, or on mounting systems with a mini-rail interface.

The NVG interface shoe (pre-installed) is used to attach the NVG to a standard dovetail headset or helmet mount.

The bayonet/horn interface shoe (included) is used to attach the NVG to a standard bayonet/horn headset or helmet mount.
